BRIEF
CRS had attempted an upgrade to Magento 1.9 to Magento 2.2 but had to revert due to several issues that their agency couldn’t resolve. Recommended by Adobe, CRS approached atmosol for our renowned technical abilities.
GOALS
Since Magento 2.3 had been released, upgrade from 1.9 to 2.3, including tax exemption customizations.

STRUCTURE THE CODE
The first step was to identify modifications to Magento core code and set up proper version control to identify and isolate changes.
UPGRADED AND UPDATED STORE
Once stabilized on the current version, atmosol upgraded to the new version, performed user experience improvements and created a solution that correctly modified the customers’ tax class inside Magento tax calculation process.
